I saw this video today and have to share it. Not all Southern women are the same but these ladies are saying a lot of the expressions I have heard from Louisiana to North Carolina. We don’t all talk like these women but most of us have used some of their expressions in our life. This and other videos of the same name were first shown on the Southern Women Channel. I just wanted to share them with you.
You will laugh!
I’m in my favorite coffee shop again so need to wait to get home to watch (too noisy here), but I can’t wait! As a transplanted Yankee, I bet a lot of these have crept into my vocabulary!

I have a tendency to pick up the way people around me talk too. If you don’t laugh, I want to know! Lol

I had a southern friend many years ago. She said “bless her heart” a lot. Eventually so did I!

Sometimes we do rub off on others with our weird Southern “isms’and expressions. I hope she was using “Bless her heart” in a positive way, LOL. Sometimes it is used to soften an insult. “That’s such an ugly baby! Bless its heart.”
I think I try to use it in a positive way but every now and then, the negative sneaks in!
Thanks for commenting!!

She used it both ways which is why I got such a kick out of it. You had to listen to see which way she was going!
