Thankful for My Grandchildren 2

These two people are the parents of the children and are my daughter in law, C. and my second son, D. They are wonderful parents and have been married twenty years.

I am so thankful for these three little people, who have been a precious part of my life. I have so much fun watching them grow, play, be creative and I enjoy playing with them.

It has also been a delightful pass time to watch them grow up to their present or almost present age. L is 8 1/2 years old and loves soccer. F is 7 and is taking karate classes. E is 4 1/2. E loves to be girly and is taking ballet classes, and started preschool last September.

They call me Maha. Their other grandmother lives in a house at the front of the large lot where their family lives. They can easily and safely walk from their home to their grandmother’s home. They call her “Gammahouse.” I think that is probably because they can always go see her down the driveway. Somehow, they got creative with my name too, and call me, “Maha.” I love the name because it’s short and sweet, and they invented it!

The boys love playing video games like Minecraft and other games that boys enjoy playing. E goes to her grandmother’s house and has girly things to do with “Gammahouse” when she is visiting. They are all in school now from preschool to elementary school.

I always get big hugs from them and their parents which makes me very happy and thankful. Here are some photos of them growing up.

This one’s a hugger, as all of them are.
