I am thankful for you all. Without your involvement by reading, commenting, sharing and following my blog, I would be writing only for myself. What good is a writer if there is no one to read, understand, and enjoy a writer’s efforts?
You are one of the motivations for the time and effort I put into my stories. My motivation for writing is to try to make the world a better place, one person at a time. There are others like myself with the same motivation. I believe more and more people want to make the world a better place. I am one of the increasing number of people who are positive thinkers, supporters, up-lifters, sharers of inspiration, faith, hope, beauty, and most of all love.
My love for God, Creator, however you name Him/Her, drives me to do my part to bring more joy and love into this world, which is often so full of sadness and pain. Those hardships are the forces that shape who we are and who we become. They can bring out the worst or the best in people.
I love what Mr. Rogers said once: “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”
Fred Rogers wrote in the Mister Rogers Parenting Book. He continued: “To this day, especially in times of ‘disaster,’ I remember my mother’s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers — so many caring people in this world.” Dec 18, 2012
I grew up in a family of love. We supported each other, helped each other, and enjoyed life together. Now that we are spread out across our country, I find myself making families of friends (and in my case, neighbors in my apartment building). I think many people do this when their own biological families are gone, scattered or not connected any more.
We all need someone we can be ourselves with, provide or receive support to or from, and share or make memories with. You and I are connected through these posts; you are part of my “world” family.
Thank you for your support and encouragement.

I love Mr. Rogers “look for the helpers” quote!
Thanks for the reminder to keep finding the positives and the joys 🙂

Wow! Thank you! I love nature and its beauty. The dogwoods and pink blossomed trees and more are already having buds starting. Spring is near.
