If you had a time machine and could send just one message to your past self, what would it say?
I learned that I am a good hearted woman, who genuinely cares about other people. I had felt for many years after marrying my husband and seeing him become angry and at times abusive. I thought that I was not as intelligent as he was.
Years later he passed away. I took the reins for paying the bills working full time as a nurse, and taking care of our home. I learned that I am smarter, wiser, and more intelligent than I had believed.
I love my life, my family, my new home in a senior citizen home with lots of activities. I have written blogs on my site: Joyful2beeblogs.com for over thirteen years.
I am a new woman at 75 years of age. I love my life, love my neighbors, love nature, people, nature, learning things, being kind to others, and am a Christian. I thank God for his help every day.
I live my life and know who I am and what I am doing on this earth.

Thank you so very much for your kind words. I write my blog for free because I want to make the world a better place with hopefully helping others to be kind to others as we are to ourselves.

Thank you, Beth. I am healed from being self-conscious and feeling inferior. I am thinking about sharing my posts about my marriage and all that I went through, with an organization that helps people in emotional problems. I am so pleased that people are reading my blogs after all these years.

Coming to see that you were smarter and wiser than you’d been led to believe, after years of being told otherwise, is not a small thing to write down. Taking on the bills and the house while working full time as a nurse says plenty on its own. Thank you for putting it so plainly.

Thank you, thetravelingtaylorsofficial! It took me awhile to get my brain and wits together. I love people and I finally learned to love myself.
