I’ve been told that I look younger than my almost seventy-four year old face and body show. But I am healthy, at least, I was until my back decided to remind me of my age, along with the 37 years I was a nurse on night shift.

The sciatica flares up rarely now, along with other fun issues that come from being over 73 years “experienced.”

I am a bit of a mystery to some. Those who know me well, know that I am friendly, helpful, have a funny sense of humor, am intelligent and curious about the world around me.

I truly love people, nature, and strenuously avoid hurting anyone’s feelings. I sometimes even capture bugs in my home with a big cup, put a top on the cup and release the lost critter to the outdoors, so as not to kill it.(Unless it’s a fly, mosquito, big spider or earwig.)

I love to help my older neighbors with their cell phones or computers. People in my building ask me to check their mail for them if they go on long trips. I am very honest about other people’s belongings.

I am very tender-hearted and can’t watch someone hurting someone or any living creature. I cry easily if a movie is sad or someone is emotionally in pain or if an animal is being neglected, mistreated, or even rescued.

I guess I am a mixed bag of love, joy, curiosity, and compassion. I am who I am. So, can you get an idea of who I am?
