Who Am I?

Today is my birthday! I am seventy-five years young. I’ve been told that I look younger than my  seventy-five year old face and body actually shows. But I am healthy, at least I was until my back decided to remind me of my age, along with the 37 years I was a nurse on night shift.

The sciatica flare ups are thankfully gone now, along with other fun issues that come from being 75 years “experienced.”

I am a bit of a mystery to some. Those who know me well, know that I am friendly, helpful, have a funny sense of humor, am intelligent and curious about the world around me.

I truly love people, nature, and strenuously avoid hurting anyone’s feelings and even try to rescue bugs in my home. I use a big cup to capture bugs in my home, put a top on the cup and release the lost critter to the outdoors, so as not to kill it. (Unless it’s a fly, mosquito, big spider, roach, or earwig.)

I am very tender-hearted and can’t watch someone hurting someone or any living creature. I cry easily if a movie is sad or someone is emotionally in pain or if an animal is being neglected, mistreated, or even rescued.

I guess I am a mixed bag of love, joy, curiosity, and compassion. I am who I am. So, can you get an idea of who I am?

    1. Thank you my sweet friend. Morag, you have opened my mind about so many interesting thoughts and pictures about traveling, moving, and we always have so much fun talking. But you know what? I find your personality to be similar to mine! So fun getting to know you. Hugs!
