Golden Rules to Live By

  1. Hold tightly to that which you know through experience, examination, contemplation, hard work and lessons learned from life.
  2. Do not run away from life so hard, by working all the time that you forget to see the beauty of nature, the joys of learning, seeing, sharing, helping others and the life all around you.
  3. Try not to let anything or anyone take away your sense of humor, or make you lose the ability to love others, find joy,  and care of yourself.
  4. Decide and plan on how you will try to make a good life for yourself and those whom you love.

Everyone deserves to have, at the very least, first to have a good life. But some fall sick with diseases, lose loved ones, homes or money. But if you can reattach yourself to what joys you had at first, you may be able to regain your joy of living.

We all go through hard times, whether it be from poverty, chronic illness, loss of loved one(s), loss of a job, or abuse from a partner. Try not to let the hard times pull you down into deep depression.

We all get sad or depressed sometimes. But I want to believe that usually we can snap back to some of the joy we had before life seemed to turn against us. I want to believe that Life, in spite of most problems, can be worked with long and hard, to be worthwhile and enjoyable, even if there are hard times to survive first.

I do believe there is a God/Creator who started the world and keeps life going on this planet and maybe others. Think about the people you love and try to help them if they are depressed or sad. Be kind to one another.
